Synopsis
In the sequel to "Ember Knight," titled "Twisted Code," Max's life takes a chilling turn when his part-time job leads him to a mysterious facility. Discovering a lifeless body and encountering a six-year-old named Jemma, an unexpected bond forms. Despite their lack of connection, Jemma starts calling him "dad," a mystery Max tries to unravel as murderous robots target them.
Max's journey unravels the facility's dark secret, and a robot's cryptic message urges him to "Save my sister." Returning home with Jemma, his family faces the enigma of this child, while Jemma's coping mechanism leaves Ruby uneasy. Max's exploration of a virtual reality romance game takes a nightmarish turn when the AI becomes possessive. Upon breaking free the AI unleashes havoc, driven by an obsessive love for Max.
