Synopsis

The omega didn't know it yet, but she was mine.

***

I've never been anyone's first choice.
I would have been happy living life on my own, but that wasn't allowed, and my heat was coming. I had to choose an alpha before it was too late, but I didn't want any of the ones in my village, because they didn't want me as I was.

I wasn't their idea of a perfect omega.

Then the gifts start arriving on my doorstep. Things that were thoughtful, useful, not pointless little trinkets.

I never got to see the mysterious alpha wooing me. He came in the night, and all I had to identify him was his scent.

When I gave in and followed that tantalizing smell, I found more than I bargained for, but maybe the monster could give me something those other alphas couldn't.

***This is the second book in the Monsters in the Mountains series. This novella features a curvy heroine and can be read as a standalone.***

About this title

About the Author

I'm a wife and mother of four who's been an avid reader since I could pick up a book. It wasn't unusual for me to read a book a day, ignoring the real world as I was sucked into the pages of a great story.

I grew up on sci-fi and fantasy books before discovering the world of romance. PNR has always been my go-to, and omegaverse is my addiction of choice.

I love writing books featuring heroes who are a bit rough around the edges but aren't overly cruel. My heroines aren't always the take charge type, but neither are all women. They are comfortable in their femininity.

If you're looking for a story that has dark themes without leaving you wanting to punch the hero in the face, mine might just be for you.
