Synopsis
Sierra Quinn wakes on a bright spring Sunday ready for a new beginning-her husband is due home after two long weeks on the road, and she starts a new job in the IT department at Black Industries the next morning. With the kids grown and gone, she's eager to reinvent herself, meet new people, and reclaim a spark that's been missing from her marriage.
Instead, her world collapses with a single phone call. Jerry wants a divorce-and he's leaving her for a younger woman.
Reeling but determined, Sierra throws herself into her new role at Black Industries. There she meets Cole Black, the company's driven president, a man fighting to save his business from recession, foreign competition, and a partner he no longer trusts. Burned by his own past betrayal, Cole isn't looking for complications-until Sierra walks into his life.
As Sierra rebuilds her confidence and Cole battles to keep his company alive, an undeniable attraction grows between them. but when Cole pushes for more, Sierra hesitates. After losing everything, she's vowed to stand on her own two feet before giving her heart to anyone again.
