Synopsis
This,, my first children's book, is inspired by heartfelt conversations with my grandchildren and my work exploring the values that build benevolent communities. This story grew from a shared wish: that the world might root itself in humanity to build a kinder society.
The lyrical story has parable qualities and begins when a dark cloud drifts over a small town, a group of friends notices that fear has begun to take hold. By standing together, the children remember the light within-the hope, kindness, and care that can lift the darkness and light a new way.
Through courage and shared humanity, the children discover that living with kindness and harmony, and joining together can brighten their community's spirit-and the world-beginning with BENE - the simple act of wishing another well.
One, Two, Three BENE! is a lyrical picture book and modern parable that invites children, families, and classrooms to explore timeless values and imagine the brighter, kinder world we can create together.

About the Author
Lori Ann is an Experiential Educator, Retreat and Workshop Facilitator, Leadership Coach, and Writer. She is the Founder of Create Safe Space, Inc., a human centered nonprofit dedicated to cultivating thriving environments that inspire healthy relationships, uplift the spirit, and grow communities rooted in dignity, integrity, empathy, belonging, and generosity of heart.
