Synopsis

Set in a small town in the rainy Pacific Northwest, Tatum leaves her Texas home behind to focus on her art and embrace solitude, determined to avoid the complications of love. That is, until she meets two men who awaken feelings she hasn’t experienced in years—feelings she isn’t sure she’s ready for after what she left behind. But there’s one major problem: Anthony and Hayden have despised each other since childhood.

Anthony, a brooding and mysterious billionaire, is a stark contrast to Hayden, Maple Crest’s loyal golden boy and a rugged lumberjack. Aside from their shared love for the same woman, the two couldn’t be more different.

As Tatum’s relationships with both men deepen, her quiet life takes a dark turn due to one man's secrets. Disturbing “gifts” start appearing at her doorstep—and worse, inside her home. Despite heightened security, her stalker grows bolder, leaving no corner of her life untouched. When Tatum vanishes without a trace, Anthony and Hayden are forced to set aside their lifelong feud and work together to rescue her, the relationship between them shifting from hate to something else along the way.

They will do anything to save her, and she will do anything to protect those she loves.

Only, not everyone will come out unscathed.
By the end, something will be painted red, and it won't be another one of Tatum's paintings.

About this title

About the Author

I was born and raised in Utah, moved away after high school to spend a few years in Texas, then moved back to my home state. Here, I get to partake in some of my other passions that include being outdoors in the Wasatch Mountains. Like many authors, I've had a passion for writing from a young age so to finally publish in 2023 was a dream come true. I have several more books planned in different genres that I can't wait to start sharing with readers! I love to interact with fellow readers, especially people who have read -- or are currently reading -- my book, so don't be shy to reach out to me!
