Synopsis
Six stories, all in the first person, about loss and how the character deals with it. Some are humorous, some sad, and some very introspective. The characters range from a thirteen-year-old boy to a 67-year-old teacher facing his last day of teaching. In between are a jazz musician, a husband who has lost his faith in his wife, a college student dealing with both a first love and a first lust, and a writer facing the middle of his life and the end of his career.

Chuck Holmes has been a professional writer for more than fifty years, with more than 100 TV scripts, and awards in television, advertising, short story competitions, and poetry competitions. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and near his children and grandchildren.
