Synopsis

Behind her are years of emotional abuse. Downriver ... her freedom.

Married to Nash for almost 40 years, Amy has dreamt of leaving him almost since the beginning. She stayed to keep things stable for their three, now-grown children.
But things have changed.
On a hot afternoon while camping by a river with Nash and his friends, she wades into the river's soothing current just to cool off. She could just let herself drift with the water... around the next bend... and the next... until she disappears from a life she wishes she had fled years and years ago.
But where will she go?
What will she do when she gets there?
What kind of new life can she create if she listens to her heart as it begs her to go?
Now.
In an instant, Amy decides this is her chance. Can she find her way to a new life if she lets the river take her?
On that July afternoon, in her desperation she leaves, not thinking about the chaos her disappearance will cause in the lives of those she has left behind.

A story of courage and daring ... and what it costs to start over.
