Synopsis
Maddie excitedly looks out the car window every morning on the way to school, riding with her mom and little brother. Passing the meadows, the pond, and the Robertson's farm, she can't wait to see all the animals along the way each day. Whether it was Cheese-It the cow, the chubby groundhog, or the beautiful turkey vulture she secretly admired, Maddie watched closely each morning to see what her animal friends were up to that day.
One day, a FOR SALE sign appeared near the farm, and later, SOLD! NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT COMING SOON! Maddie worries about the animals she loves suddenly losing their homes.
