Of the seven chapters in this study, Chapter I introduces the problems of describing and analyzing the coaching philosophies of football coaches in Oregon. Chapter II reviews six personal interviews taken from Oregon coaches. Chapter III analyzes what the six coaches had in common. Chapter IV analyzes what the six coaches did differently in their programs. Chapter V presents a summary, conclusion, and recommendations. In Chapter VI, Coach Geigle shares his answers to the questions put to the other Oregon coaches. And Chapter VII explains how this book got its title and includes a story about a student who simply wanted to play football like his three brothers.
