Synopsis
Hamish Dexter, now a Colonel of the Scots Guards, and his wife Elizabeth, the politician in Parliament, but it's not the life they thought they would be living.
Augustus Talbot is dead, but he won't stay dead, he is still planning for their future, like it or not, they are still under his protection, and more people join the clan as he prepares for big moves, however, a war is about to start with China, so he has to come up with something and fast, he writes another book as an add on to his first, called, The China Question, and gives advice from the grave to the leaders of the world. His granddaughter Caledonia is living on the ice of Canada with her man, but the new baby changes everything. Helen's ancient problem is about to be solved, but he asks only one thing from her: loyalty! But she wants revenge on someone in the UK who tried to stab her in the back. He has to control her anger; He hopes Caledonia is happily living on the ice. She has learned her hard lessons, but is she ready to return with her new baby? He still has all the plates spinning, but it's explanation time.

About the Author
He has lived in Loughborough in Leicestershire, UK, for most of his working life but has also lived and worked in France.
Now retired and starting this new career, the stories can finally come out of friends in the trade and on the mountains of Europe who have given him some wonderful characters in passing.
