Synopsis

What if the life you remember is only the version you were allowed to keep?

Daniel Reyes wakes to evidence of a life he does not remember living.

A message he never sent.
An appointment he never made.
A mural that everyone insists has always been there.

At first, the changes are small enough to dismiss. Stress. Exhaustion. A failing memory.

Then the world begins answering back.

Daniel discovers a hidden system that does more than alter memories. It revises streets, relationships, decisions—even people—then supplies everyone with a past that makes the changes feel natural.

Its administrators call themselves the Archons.

They claim their corrections protect reality from collapse. But beneath the accepted world lies the Archive: a vast repository of discarded lives, erased witnesses, and every version of existence that was overwritten.

Daniel has been corrected before.

The woman helping him once participated in those revisions. His missing mother may still exist somewhere inside the Archive. And the first alteration made to his life may be the foundation supporting everything the Archons have built.

To recover the truth, Daniel must decide whether exposing what was stolen will free the erased—or destroy the lives that grew in their absence.

Reality can be revised.

Consent cannot be created.

And nothing truly witnessed is ever completely gone.

The Missing Yesterday is a dark science-fiction thriller about memory, identity, hidden authority, and the terrible cost of allowing someone else to decide which version of your life is real.
