Synopsis

THE DELIVERY WAS NEVER THE POINT. YOU WERE.

David Ross just wants one more late-night pickup done. A warehouse. Forty-five floors. Sign, load, go home. Instead, the doors open on a hotel that shouldn't exist no name, no guests, no way this address is real.

A receptionist who already knows his name. A man in a black suit waiting inside the elevator. And a clipboard marked
LOAD 45, with no cargo listed at all.

Because the delivery isn't cargo. It's him.

Floor by floor, the elevator drops David through everything he's spent years running from the sister he couldn't save, the marriage he let die, the friend whose silence still cuts, and a woman in pink who knows exactly what he wants and exactly what it will cost him to take it.

He can refuse the ride. But this building doesn't do refusals. It does consequences.

Some deliveries you can turn down. This one delivers you.

Why readers can't put LOAD 45 down:

A high-concept psychological thriller that traps you in the elevator with him one floor, one gut-punch at a time
A slow-burn descent into guilt, temptation, and denial that never lets the tension drop
A villain who doesn't need to chase you she just waits for you to give in
Perfect for readers who love psychological horror with emotional teeth not just scares, but consequences

If you've ever told yourself one more lie to survive the day, David's ride down is going to feel uncomfortably familiar.

Scroll up and take the ride. Floor 45 is waiting.
