Drawing on decades of personal struggle, contemplative practice across Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Dzogchen, and Sikhism, and the author's own work in theoretical physics, the book proposes that the human self is an informational entity operating through three minds — Emotional, Rational, and Cosmic — and that suffering arises precisely when the noisiest of the three, the egoic Rational Mind, drowns out the signal from the other two.
The book traces this insight from personal memoir through quantum physics, introducing the Binary Self — rooted in "I, me, mine" — and the Quantum Self — rooted in "us, we, ours" — and showing why the path from one to the other is not a spiritual achievement but a thermodynamic return to ground.
