Synopsis

Fifteen-year-old Rylan Cade is traveling deep into Alaska’s Brooks Range to visit his mother at a remote Arctic research station. He expects an uncomfortable reunion after months of canceled plans and unanswered frustration. He never expects the flight to end in disaster.

When severe weather forces their bush plane down in an isolated valley, Rylan survives the crash with pilot Graham Pike badly injured and unable to walk. Their radio is destroyed, their emergency signal is uncertain, and search crews may be looking along a route far from where they landed.

With winter descending through the mountains and their supplies running out, Rylan must rely on the mechanical skills his grandfather taught him to build, repair, and improvise what they need to survive. Every mile brings new dangers, harder decisions, and a growing burden that no fifteen-year-old should have to carry alone.

The Winter Line: Trapped in the Arctic is a fast-paced survival adventure filled with suspense, ingenuity, courage, and the relentless struggle to stay alive when the wilderness offers no easy way home.
