Teddy the bear cub loves bugs, bikes, and adventure — but reading out loud in class? That's another story.

When his teacher, Ms. Fox, asks for a volunteer to read, Teddy's tummy fills with butterflies. What if he sounds out a word wrong? What if his classmates giggle?

With gentle encouragement from Ms. Fox and his best friend Pip, Teddy learns a simple trick: sound out each letter, one at a time, then put them together. Slowly, step by step, page by page, Teddy finds the courage to try — and the pride of doing it.

Teddy Bear Reads Out Loud is a warm, encouraging picture book for early readers (ages 5–8) who are learning to sound out words and build confidence reading aloud. Perfect for classrooms, bedtime, and any child who has ever felt nervous about reading in front of others.

This is Book 1 in the Brave Bear Reading Series — gentle stories about big feelings, small victories, and finding your brave voice.
