How humanity, animals, plants, nature, society, Earth and the cosmos can be protected – without violating freedom, dignity, justice and peace.
SECURITYLOGY presents a holistic vision of security that goes far beyond traditional concepts of protection. It brings together science, philosophy and ethics to examine how the many dimensions of life can be protected in an interconnected world.
Security is not understood merely as defense against danger. It is understood as a comprehensive responsibility for life, human dignity, freedom, justice, peace and the natural foundations of our existence. Humanity is part of a larger system that includes animals, plants, ecosystems, the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, lithosphere, the entire Earth and the wider cosmos.
The book explores how education, health, research, science, ethics, creativity, work, food, transportation, mobility, sport, entertainment, production, technology, economics, ecology, human rights, animal and plant protection, climate protection, environmental protection, financial security and planetary protection are interconnected.
SECURITYLOGY also considers natural and cosmic hazards such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, tsunamis, tornadoes, typhoons, wildfires, floods, extreme weather, diseases, pandemics, solar activity, cosmic radiation, meteorites and other planetary and cosmic risks.
At the heart of the theory is a fundamental ethical principle:
“Do not do evil, do good – for all beings, regardless of time and place.”
