About the Author

British-Colombian writer based in Spain. She holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU) and completed training at Spain’s Escuela de Escritores. Winner of the Caños Dorados International Short Story Competition for Bewitching Eyes, she has also been shortlisted for other literary awards. For more than twenty years, she has worked internationally in human rights and humanitarian response, an experience that informs her fiction without defining it. In her writing, she is drawn to lives shaped by inequality, migration and resilience, exploring the intersections of history, memory and everyday life.
