Synopsis
Il pleuvait à torrents et personne, vraiment personne, n'était prêt à ouvrir sa porte, et surtout pas à ces individus. Oui, il y avait des Blancs parmi eux ― les humanitaires qui les accompagnaient ― mais ils étaient tout aussi étranges que les autres malheureux, mal fagotés et mal en point. Que venaient-ils faire, ces envahisseurs, dans notre petit village où il n'y avait plus de maire, plus d'école, où les trains ne passaient plus et où même nos enfants ne voulaient plus venir ? Nous nous demandions comment les affronter, où les abriter puisqu'il le fallait. Eux aussi, les migrants, avaient l'air déboussolés. C'était pour ce coin perdu de Sardaigne, ce petit village délaissé, qu'ils avaient traversé, au péril de leur vie, la Méditerranée ? C'était ça, l'Europe ?
