Synopsis
The original version for violin dates from 1981, thus being one of the early works by the Israeli composer who teaches at Harvard University. About 35 years later, Chaya Czernowin wrote the arrangement for viola which was first performed by Maria Ritzenthaler at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 2015. In the same year, she composed another version for violoncello solo. Instrumentation: viola solo
