This is the first product of the Show me Cities project, which aims to reveal different cities through the eyes of those who live there. The principle is simple: the best way to discover a city is through its people, its inhabitants. And the end result of a journey is always more satisfactory and authentic when we are led by the hand of someone who truly knows a place. Show me Rio features contributions from local cariocas such as Vik Muniz, Andrea Dellal, Chico Buarque, Eduardo Paes, Isabela Capeto, Luiz Garrido, Oskar Metzavah, Roberta Sudbrack, Sérgio Rodrigues, and Zuenir Ventura, amongst others. The content is presented in book with a film included. The final section contains the city tips and suggestions of the 19 cariocas interviewed, resulting in a fabulous and complete insider's guide.
