Predecessor of Sophocles and Euripides , is considered the first great representative of Greek tragedy . Born in Eleusis , Attica, place where the mysteries of Eleusis were celebrated . He belonged to a noble and wealthy landowning family . In his youth he witnessed the end of the tyranny of Pisistrátidas in Athens ... Aeschylus was much given to condense their works linked trilogies , trying on a particular issue , although each party retained its full meaning and could be well represented separately.
