Dr. Hao Jiasheng is an Associate Professor specializing in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), and a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He has conducted pioneering research on topics such as online learning of big data in oil drilling, intelligent decision-making and control systems based on deep reinforcement learning, and autonomous cognitive systems for robots. He has directed multiple provincial/ministerial-level teaching reform projects, mentored national championship teams in the 2021 National Curling AI Challenge, guided students to win national First Prize in the 2024 Huawei ICT Competition. Dr. Hao also possesses deep expertise in in UNIX/Linux design and development. Recognized for transformative contributions, he holds the titles of Huawei Ascend Expert (HAE), Huawei Cloud & Computing Pioneer Teacher, and "Distinguished Teacher" in the 2022 Ministry of Education-Huawei "Intelligent Base" Initiative.
