About the Author
A household name in Malaysia ad the country s food ambassador, Chef Wan has entertained extensively in various cooking programmes on television, delighting audiences with his wit and humour while demonstrating his cooking skills. He has appeared on Malaysian TV cooking shows such as Kuali, Hey Good Cooking, Cipta Rasa, Acu-Acu Aidilfitri, Selera, Saji Bistari and his very own Chef Wan. Besides havinf co-hosted a TV cooking show and culinary tour of Singapore, the Philippines and Malaysia with celebrity chef Martin Yan of Yan Can Cook fame, Chef Wan has also appeared on A Taste of Malaysia on Discovery Channel and No Reservations, where he co-hosted the Malaysian segment with Anthony Bourdain. His most recent accolade is the "Top 5 celebrity chefs in the world award from the Gourmand World Media Awards 2008.
