Lee Chor Lin’s museum career began in 1985 as curator for the Southeast Asian collection at the National Museum of Singapore. She was later involved in the development of several museums and heritage institutions in Singapore, such as Asian Civilisations Museum in the capacity of Senior Curator, and the National Museum (2003–2013) as Director. Her dynamic leadership turned Singapore’s static museum landscape into a progressive and vibrant phenomenon.
