Zhen-Qing Chen is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Washington, Seattle. His research interests include Dirichlet form theory, stochastic analysis, heat kernels, stochastic processes in deterministic as well as random environments, and potential theory. He has published over 180 research papers and one monograph. He is a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He has served in several editorial boards in mathematics. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief for Potential Analysis. He is a recipient of the Ito's Prize in 2019, together with Masatoshi Fukushima.
This conference proceeding contains 27 peer-reviewed invited papers from leading experts as well as young researchers all over the world in the related fields that Professor Fukushima has made important contributions to.
