Bringing with him more than twenty-five years of experience as a family-life counsellor, Haynesley Griffith specifically wrote this manual for individuals contemplating marriage. Counsellors and ministers of religion can utilize this manual to conduct group or one-on-one counselling sessions and even married couples seeking marital check-ups. This manual delves into several real issues encountered by individuals preparing for marriage as well as newly married couples. The manual addresses topics such as the creator's view on marriage, individual maturity, wholeness and spiritual development, as well as gender roles, money management, parenting, conflict, sexual intimacy and wedding planning. Securing the Foundation of Marriage Before Building the Family promotes interactivity between counsellor and counsellee, provokes thought, incites introspection and most of all prepares couples for marriage.
