Synopsis
This work of fiction is inspired by the maritime adventures of children who immigrated to Cuba from the Canary Islands and who, like the protagonist of the novel, wanted to travel the world. This book came about after an interview the author did with Gregorio Fuentes, who was the captain of Ernest Hemingway's boat.
