Rabbi Yehudah Lev Ashlag was a major Kabbalist, opening up the whole field of the Kabbalah by deciphering the code it was written in. He was the author of "In the Shadow of the Ladder: Introductions to Kabbalah." Yedidah Cohen, with her husband, translated Rabbi Ashlag's "In the Shadow of the Ladder: Introductions to Kabbalah."
