Review:
It took some time but after "the Da Vinci Code" it was investable that sooner or later, the mysterious Voynich manuscript would become a plot device in the latest conspiracy thrillers.
The Voynich MS is an actual codex filled with strange diagrams and written in a strange text, which even the NSA has been unable to decode.
Another interesting historical document is the McGuffin, the RED BOOK or personal magical diary of Dr. Carl G. Jung, which has never been published. The premise is that within Jung's diary is the key-code to decipher the Voynich. But evil forces, a neo-Nazi occult society, the VRIL, and its sadistic assassins are in a mad race against the OMEGA FORCE, who wants to thwart their plans to reestablish the master race. Holding a group of orphans at the Vril's private school, the villains hope to harness the secret of the Nephilim or Indigo childrens' fantastic powers.

Although somewhat derivative and similar to James Patterson's When the Wind Blows, with the flying mutant children created in some nefarious black ops project, or the similar general plot of King's Firestarter, this novel holds its own with the fresh characterization of Wendy, one of the Indigo children, whose point of view genuinely captures a young girl's voice. A bit screenplay like in places, but the pacing sustains throughout.
