Synopsis
New photo series by Geert Goiris dealing with the theme of our contemporary oil culture. On behalf of the Rubis Mécénat Cultural Fund, Goiris received approval for the Rubis Terminal locations in Rouen and other locations in Europe. He attacks the theme from the outside and limits himself to the moment when the oil seems to be without drama. It is not about the technical performance of extracting oil from the earth, nor about the economic, social and/or geopolitical consequences of its existence. Rather, it is about the intermediate stages, the moments in which oil is only potentially active. Limited edition with print.
