Synopsis
"Remote Sensing in Hydrology" provides a state-of-the-art analysis of the current applications of remote sensing for all aspects of the study of water resources. Following a brief examination of the basic principles of remote sensing, the authors deal in turn with each part of the hydrological cycle, emphasizing throughout the increasing importance of quantative methodology. Each chapter closes with a section on future developments.
