Synopsis
Dr Jernail Singh Anand's latest anthology of poems, The Line of Fire (unlike its more than hundred predecessors), is divided into two sections, the nameless first section comprises the poet's reflections on social issues that agitate his supraconsciousness, and the second/ final section mirrors the dynamics of Love. As one meanders through the dense poetic endeavours, one is bound to ask as individual and a social being if it is one's destiny to always stand in the line of fire!
