About the Author

Dr K.N. Srinivas is currently Professor and Head in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai 89, Tamilnadu where he has also served as Vice-Principal (Academic). He obtained A.M.I.E., from I.E. (India) in Electrical Engineering in 1989, M.E. in Power Systems from Annamalai University in 1993 and Ph.D in Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University in 2004. He has more than 40 WoS international research journal publications in the field of electric machines, drives and power electronics. He has authored 2 text books and this is his third book.
