About the Author

Shanta Dutta Roy has been associated with teaching literature and language to students of Maitreyi College, Delhi University for more than four decades. Her field of specialisation is modern British poetry specially Philip Larkin's work. Apart from her interest in English, she is equally fascinated by Bengali literature. She is passionate about writing English poetry, and keen about music―both Indian classical and Rabindra Sangeet. She loves to travel around the world.
