About the Author
Ravi Kumar Sharma, Professor in Civil Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (HP), obtained his PhD in 1999 from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is an experienced teacher, researcher and consultant with more than 33 years of experience. He has published 2 books, 120 research papers, completed 12 research projects and provided consultancy to more than 1000 construction projects.
