About the Authors

Bharat Wakhlu is the former Managing Director, India, for the US helicopter company, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (A Lockheed Martin Company). He is an engineer with degrees in management from IIM Bangalore, and INSEAD, Fontainebleau. Bharat worked with the Tata Group, in India and the US, for three decades. He joined the group as a TAS Executive. He is a Fellow of the All India Management Association and the American Society for Quality. Bharat is passionate about Leadership Development, Corporate Governance, Sustainability and Total Quality.

Savita Bhan Wakhlu is the Managing Director of her company, Jagriti Communications, which focuses on individual and organizational learning and development. She is an engineer and a certified personal/executive coach from the New York University, New York. She is also a certified cross-cultural trainer and consultant from Berlitz, USA, and a certified EQ resource from the Forum of Emotional Intelligence Learning (FEIL), India. Savita has trained and coached senior and mid-level executives in India and the US. She is also a member of the Indian Society of Training and Development. 

Both Bharat and Savita are published authors, and continue to write, speak and coach on personal effectiveness, management and leadership.
