About the Author

​Robert Heinrich Johannes Sobotta (31 January 1869 – 20 April 1945) was a renowned German anatomist, best known for his influential work in human anatomy. Born in Berlin, he pursued medical studies at the University of Berlin, earning his doctorate in 1891 with a dissertation on the development of the uterus in humans and apes.
