Synopsis

An Addict with a Pen is a poetry collection for the overthinkers, feelers, and quiet seekers. These poems explore love, loneliness, capitalism, chaos, and quiet joy through everyday observations and existential questions. From trading floors to kitchen tables, late-night spirals to lighthearted absurdities, each piece invites reflection without demanding resolution. Some poems whisper, some punch, and some just sit beside you like an old friend. If you've ever looked at the ceiling at 3 AM and wondered what the point of all this is-this book won't give you the answer, but it will remind you that you're not alone.

About this title

About the Author

Rohan Jain is a poet and derivatives trader who splits his time between market data and human emotion. By profession, he trades futures; by passion, he writes about the paradoxes and tenderness of life. An Addict with a Pen is his debut collection, born out of long nights, quiet thoughts, and the desire to make sense of things that don't always make sense. He believes poetry doesn't need to shout to be heard, and that writing is a way to survive the questions we carry. He currently lives with more doubts than answers-and a pen that rarely runs dry.
