About the Author

Ricki Wegner has a passion for global health. She has been involved in the field of women's health since 2016, spent two years in Afghanistan doing humanitarian work, and currently works as α sonographer in the US. She also started Ultrasound Unveiled, where she creates visual study notes and teaches ultrasound mini-lessons on social media. In her free time, she enjoys writing, spending time in nature, and going on adventures with her husband and kids.
