Synopsis
When Sandesh, a fifteen-year-old runaway working at a video store in Bombay, is seduced by a wealthy married woman named Lolita, he has no idea how life-altering his sexual awakening will be. Lolita's husband learns of her infidelity, and Sandesh finds himself subjected to assault and battery. And that's how he meets Jeevan Reddy, a high-profile criminal lawyer who takes his case, accuses Lolita of paedophilia . . . and enters into a relationship with Sandesh.

About the Author
R. Raj Rao is the author of the iconic novel The Boyfriend, soon to be made into a major motion picture, as well as of the technically accomplished novel Hostel Room 131, and the collection of short stories One Day I Locked My Flat in Soul City. His other work includes poetry, plays, biography, translation and much non-fiction. One of India's leading queer theorists, Rao teaches Indian literature, LGBT literature and creative writing at the University of Pune.
