The NET, JRF, and SET exams are conducted for appointment of assistant professors to universities. The exams are conducted in a number of subjects.
UGC NET/JRF/SET Social Work (Paper II ) is divided into ten units, and five elective sections. The first unit is an introduction to social work and its principles. The next few chapters talk about the community and human behaviour. This is followed by the different types of work associated with the profession, and also the concepts of society and it’s development.
The five elective sections are namely Labour Welfare, Evolution of Social Work Practice, Models of Community Development, Changes in Democratic and Social Situations, and Concept of Crime and Deviance. Every chapter is followed by multiples choice questions pertaining to the chapter.
The answers to the questions are also provided and are explained in detail, for better understanding of the subject. The book also contains previous year’s solved papers.
