About the Author

About the Authors: Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh is the Governor of Uttarakhand. He earlier served in the Indian Army for nearly four decades and had been the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, adjutant general, and corps commander of the XV Corps, which overlooks the Line of Control in Kashmir. He has also worked on national security and counter-terrorism. Arun Tiwari is a distinguished Indian missile scientist, engineer, and author, globally known as the co-author of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's iconic autobiography, Wings of Fire. His work bridges technology and human aspiration, exploring science, spirituality, and leadership, while making timeless wisdom accessible to contemporary readers.
