About the Author

V.S. Vyas (PhD Economics) is currently Professor Emeritus in the Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur. He also served as Director, Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A). He is the author of several books and articles in the areas of agricultural policy and rural development.
