Synopsis
يحضر نهر الفرات في نصوص عبد الجواد يحيى العلي حضوراً رمزياً طاغياً باعتباره شريان حياة الأرض والناس الذين سكنوا ضفتيه منذ آلاف السنين. ولا يحضر الفرات وحيداً، بل يأتي معه النبات ورائحة الزيزفون والقصب والبردي وطيور الغرانيق والقَطا الذي يتزوّد بماء الفرات، ثم يأوي إلى بادية الشام التي يسميها الناس الحَماد. النهر جارٍ، وكذلك الزمن، أما الإنسان فثابت ومتشبّث بالمكان، مكان الطفولة والصبا في الحبّوبة التي كانت قائمة على كتف الفرات الأيمن قبل أن ينحدر شرقاً بعد ذلك عند مِسكَنة. كان هذا قبل أن ينسدّ النهر بالسدّ الذي شرّد قسماً من الأهل ودفع من تبقى منهم بعيداً عن مجراه القديم. نصوص هذا الكتاب كلمات حب للبلاد والناس الذين هم الأهل.
