About the Author

Martin Kers is an interesting man: he takes pictures of landscapes, but prefers the term 'outdoor photographer'. A characteristic of his work is that he shows the 'normal' as extraordinary. Having travelled the world working for newspapers and magazines, he has a vast selection of experiences to help him choose the locations for his shots.

I simply create things to share with the world.' - Martin Kers, outdoor photographer 'Overal ben ik welkom, en toch hoor ik nergens bij.' 'I am welcome everywhere, and yet I belong nowhere.' - Herman Brood 'Because he had no place he could stay in without getting tired of it and because there was nowhere to go but everywhere, keep rolling under the stars…' - Jack Kerouac, On the Road 'Martin Kers' photographs are timeless pieces of art, like nature itself.' - Redmond O'Hanlon on Onmetelijke Noordzee (The Boundless North Sea) by Martin Kers
