About the Author

Christa van den Berg received her MSc in Architecture from Delft University of Technology in 2002. Soon after, she started working as a freelance journalist and copywriter for various companies and publications, and as a translator. She currently writes for Dutch architecture magazine De Architect, Gezond Bouwen en Wonen magazine, Delta, the Delft University newspaper and ipv Delft. Gerhard Nijenhuis received his MSc in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 1991. He worked on the Erasmus bridge design at design office Van Berkel & Bos for a year until he founded ipv Delft in 1996.
