About the Author

Kenneth Tobin, Ed.D. (1980), University of Georgia, is Presidential Professor Emeritus at the Graduate Center of CUNY. Tobin taught high school science for a decade, and was a professor for 45 years. His research includes contemplative practices, wellness and wellbeing. Konstantinos Alexakos, Ph.D. (2005), Columbia University, is Professor at Brooklyn College and The Graduate Center, CUNY. Research foci include teaching and learning, emotions, wellness and critical social issues with the goals of improving personal and global wellbeing, sustainability and education.
