Synopsis

Development and settlement system of Songgukri type culture in the Bronze AgeSongguk-ri Culture has value as a major research object formed in the middle of Koreas Bronze Age, and this work is meaningful in that it attempted a comprehensive approach to this object. As a result of this work, I analyzed 1,987 Songgukri-type settlements in 263 relics, revealing changes in each region, and approaching the near-goal goal of colonial archeology through active acceptance of the concept of territorialization. This study suggests the identification of the relative personality inherent in the existence of hierarchies in the realm, the identification of regional linkage networks through colonial archaeological approaches to major settlements, and the reaffirmation of the identity of the Geum River basin through cultural contact patterns.
