Synopsis

Drawn from the rich reserves of British art in the collections of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Lisbon, and the British Council, this stunning volume presents works by thirty-one artists and incorporates examples of Pop and Op art, hard edge abstraction, figurative and non-figurative painting, prints, works on paper, reliefs and abstract coloured sculpture.
