Walking on the work means entering his personal cosmos, experiencing a grid-like territory capable of interpreting every conscious and unconscious aspect of human experience.

About the Author
Born in Santa Monica, California, in 1951, Matt Mullican lives and works between New York and Berlin. Since the 1970s, he has developed a complex system of symbols, pictograms, and colour codes that reflects his interest in the organisation and sharing of knowledge, language, and meaning. His works are included in the collections of the world's most important museums, from MoMA and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York to the Tate in London and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
